Improvement Mod version 4.9.5

The smallest update ever? Perhaps... But this is more of a hot-fix than an actual update, still, here is the change log:

- added a new tech for bow/crossbow units to the Arsenal
- visual changes for the Conquistador (for AoE2 fans)
- fixed some Consulate units sounds
- added the Lumber Camp to the Ottoman Home City and Consulate
- the Spanish Treasure Fleet card now sends 2 Treasure Ships that generate coin
- other stuff/bug fixes...

  2. playing for the Sioux, I noticed a bug when building Native Embassy and Aztecs Native (Trading post), do not want to join Native Embassy

  3. Hey Mandos. I noticed that when we play sioux, we always get a SYNC issue and the game crashes. I don't know if you have noticed this. It tends to happen right after we get a treasure or we build a market.It doesn't happen all the time, but when it does happen, it is really lame. We will be going back to 4.9.4 for now.

  4. We saw that it doesn't happen all the time. These are the combinations that caused the sync crash
    sioux vs china
    sioux vs ottoman vs america
    sioux vs ottoman vs spain
    There is a group of 9 of us who play and download every one of you updates as soon as they come out, but we skipped 4.9.4

    1. Hello there.
      Strange problem indeed, but there has been no change to the Sioux in the latest update...
      The game is very sensitive regarding connections between players. I know from experience that if one or more players have a slow PC or internet connection "out of sync" may pop up.

      I made a lot of effort to keep the game playable in multiplayer, and it's very sad to hear there are still problems. I will try everything i can to fix it.

    2. No problem Mandos. We play at least 2 times a week and some times as much as 5 times. there are about 9 of us who play and we have only had sync issues like twice before. As soon as we installed this mod upate, we started having issues :/. I really hope there is a quick fix. We also use a paid hamachi server, in case that would help you replicate the bug. We will be anxiously waiting for your findings.

    3. just checked in the mod of ESO, it does not work quite right, new technologies (from the HC cards) can not be :( if you take the card out of the city and re-enter, the card simply disappears from the deck :( too bad :(

    4. maybe a problem in the game files, ESO reads only official files, basically what is inside the archive .bar. You did not try to pack them in their place?

    5. It can read files outside bars... Just that when playing on ESO the game basically has a list with files and stuff and uses only what's on that list, messing up a lot of stuff.

      Try the game on Skirmish and you'll see it works fine.

    6. I was talking only about the ESO problem, that if the modified files to pack into bars to replace the original, ESO will read them and play will become possible, for the sake of the experiment

  10. Hey, when i play the mod with my buddy via ESO, everything works fine, until we go into a large battle, then everytime, we get an out of sync message and it kicks us from the game :(.

    Love the mod though!

    1. Well, this isn't really the mod's fault... It's the old and buggy AoE3 engine.
      Just be sure none of you has lag and that the connection between you is good and there shouldn't be problems. In case lag starts during those large battles, try lowering video settings.

    2. no lag or performance issues, never happens with unmodded games when me and the same friend play.

  11. This is the best mode for AoEIII and I like it. But there is very strong Hotwizer (and Japanese Hotwizer). It would be nice if you decreased his power against infantry and artillery and a bit against Cavalery. More expensive wall. And dont overtaking enemy plantations and mills when the unit is nearby.
