The Campaigns Updates

A very upsetting and sad thing I saw throughout all big mods is the lack of campaigns, where even the vanilla campaign is scrapped. Even I my self made changes that affected campaigns in negative ways, though I always wanted them to be playable.
Well, no more mistakes. The next big updates to be released through the patcher, starting tomorrow, will fix, tweak and improve all campaign scenarios and cutscenes.

The first update will improve only the vanilla campaign, "Blood, Ice and Steel".
After that I will start working on TWC "Fire and Shadow" campaign, with TAD's campaign being the last to get worked on.

These updates will make them more enjoyable and fun, also more accurate and detailed. I strongly recommend playing all of them again after the updates.

I don't really want suggestions for scenario changes so please don't do it...
Thank you and have fun!

  1. I know I said you'll have the update by now, but I've been busy and I still have to test each scenario one last time so the update will be released tomorrow.

  2. So will the Amelia campaign have the US faction created by you, or will it still use the British one?

And I'm veryveryvery happy for those campaign changes, I think I'll wait until you'll finish the expansion campaigns though :D Unless you plan to do them in a couple of months or so.

    Still, thanks for everything!

    1. The "Steel" act already uses my USA civ. But yeah, I will improve everything related to factions and civs.

I have big plans for TWC expansion campaign, "Fire and Shadow", the one with the American revolution. It uses a fucked up civ made from native and Euro units bashed together, it's just wrong.
I will make each scenario use the correct civ, native or American.

The first campaign update has been deployed, but I'm still looking through it again to make sure everything is right.

    1. Of course. Currently I'm working on the TWC "Fire and Shadow" campaign, which is extremely fucked up and extremely hard to put together...
But when it's done I'll announce it here.

  6. I asked couple of times about U.S. and their fort walls.Fort walls that you added in "Hold the Fort" scenario in Act 3,can be replaced with those stone walls that are not appropriated for U.S. so i propose change for those walls :)

    1. Perhaps, but I found out just recently how to edit campaign scenarios, I didn't always knew it can be done.
